For reference, usual list of possible units that can be fitted to the C5 X7 ...
http://gpsunderground.com/forum/peugeot ... s-psa.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... I think qpr has the NG4 unit (we've discussed that a while back) ... now, if I'm right, only this unit can have the video input in the glovebox (yellow color input), and usually it is know as RCA, 2 cables for the audio, one for the video ... most of the TV sets also have these as an input, they were usually for connecting directly to the video cameras (camcorders), before HDMI became accepted as the newer and simpler standard for both audio and video in a single cable ... I have a lot of different solutions at home, through adapters or cables, if I want to connect any audio device to the car AUX (only for testing purposes) ... a regular 3.5 headphone jack cable and goes into the cable-adapter that splits into RCA (only audio) for the car ... or similar possibilities ... now, there is one interesting feature that the NG4 has, and it is a DVD player (I've found somwehere that it even has a TV tuner, but still haven't confirmed that), meaning you can watch DVD movies (NG4 is paired to a higher quality screen compared to the RNEG/myWay or others) ... but, there is a catch, you can't watch any movies while driving (it is linked to the GPS signal and the odometer, and when the car starts moving, for safety reasons the video is unavailable) ... since I don't have access to a car that has the NG4, I'm just writing down what I've researched (trust me, I did my share of research ...

) ... there is a way to overcome this, like in the 2 link that follow:

http://www.car-interface.com/vendita/en ... d-ng4.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
What this unit does, when you turn the switch on, it bypasses the GPS signal (can't go into technical details, didn't look into it that well), and it fools the navigation unit into thinking that the car is stopped when it is actually moving ... result: you can watch movies while driving ... the side effect is that while this is on, the GPS navigation can't be used (since it is "plugged out") ... consider this a food for thought ...

Apart from the USB BOX as mentioned before, the only solution that might have sense for people who would like to have MP3 inputs to the car radio, is to get a FM RDS MP3 radio transmitter ... basically, a unit that you configure to a custom radio frequency, and it will stream radio signal to your unit ... with the RDS data, meaning you could get the readout like usual when the radio stations show you the current playing song ... most of these are without the RDS, but there are some that actually have this feature ...

I think I've wrote enough for now, time for a little break ...
