alternator shows 16 volt
I have a renault clio and alternator shows 16 volt.is this normal?and where may be the problem?thank you

Maybe a faulty diode pack on alternator..
It can overheat and damage battery.
Double check and make sure your multimeter is good. I think alternator should read 14.4 volt across battery terminals with engine running.
