Scenic II, no heat to footwell

Hi guys, I have a problem with my scenic 2, when I choose to heat or cool my footwell, nothing happens, I can turn the dial to face vents and that works ok. just nothing goes down to warm my feet when I choose the selection on the dial. I don't have climate control just the round knob. Any ideas? Could it be the outer sheathing may have come loose? if so where?
