Stereo upgrade

Hi all I am new to the forum

I have a MK2 Laguna Phase 2 with carminat system and would like to upgrade the stereo. so my question is can the stereo be replaced and still utilize the screen i don't care that sat nav wont work i just want a better sound system ,The screen still needs to work due to clock,temp etc is on there.

Sorry that nobody got back to you, but sometimes people don't know the answer. Never having had a Renault (either personal or company use) I would not have been able to offer any advise.
