RENAULT LAGUNA II CLIMATE CONTROL ILLUMINATION

Hi folks my 2004 Laguna digital display climate control unit doesnt light up anymore,is there bulbs in it that can change?Thanks a lot

Very common problem, the unit is lit up by LEDs but a resistor fails. I need to do this job soon myself, the backlight on the V6 has finally bitten the dust. The unit is removed by just pulling it out, take it apart to expose the circuit board then there is a resistor marked "101" on the right hand sight which needs re-soldered. If I get round to this job before you I'll take pics.
French is best.

I had this too, not as difficult as it sounds. I think there's a guide in the common issues with photos.
