Renault 16 Ts / Tl

Hello there, just joined your group with an eye to buying a Renault 16 as a project. RHD, Manual and non TX. I know there's precious few out there but any advice on what I need to look out for. Front wings are obviously a weak point.. but I'm sure there's a few more.. Also what is the different on interior spec between the TS & TL? Regards!

Biggest problem Grant is Finding one!!!!!!!
GL were early models up to about 1970, then you had TL ,TS and TX, look at it as tl being base model,ts mad range with the tx top of range (1974-79) there are only about 6 "tx's" left in the uk! several heading over to Ireland, early 70's tl/ts had chrome front grills,from 74 they changed to black plastic, the later cars are proberly the rarist,

Rust in the rear suspension area was the killer, which sadly got most 16s,and is not a cheap job, if you can find someone to do it!! other than that,its like any car when looking for rust,
there are proberly about 20 R16s on the uk roads,and its realy a case of nabbing one as and when one comes on the market!!!
