The glo plugs are fine. The fuel system seems under pressurised but if I crack open each injector supply it will start when I see fuel spurting out. It runs normally but the longer I leave it I have to do the same routine to start it.
One thing I have noticed is that if I sqeeze the fuel bulb (by the filter) it pushes air down the line when before it filled the bowl then stayed hard.
Whether that is coincidence or not I am not sure.
All this seemed to happen after changing the starter motor, again possibly a coincidence? My logic tells me that any fuel pressure remaining in the pump is dropping so when starting it it not pressurised enough? Does the fuel flow back perhaps?
Any help appreciated by you diesel guys!

Re: 1.9 DTi starting problem.
Definitely air ingress in the fuel supply.
Favourites are cracked leakoff pipes, cracks or splits in the fuel lines and leaks in and around the filter housing.
Air in the lines when you squeeze the priming bulb is a dead giveaway.
Could also be the priming bulb itself breaking down.
