Very interesting site that lists the number of surviving Renaults(or any other car)and how many are taxed or SORN
My V6 RXE Safrane makes grim reading only 17 on the road(and i STILL want another if anyone knows of one)

143 Citroen Xantia Activas on the road in 2010 aparently, that is much lower than I thought

I'd love another Safrane too at some stage (had a 93 2.0 and a 97 2.5). Theres a 99 ( it hink, i'd have to find the ad again ) 2.5 goign over here for €350 at the minute.

In the last quarter of 2010 there was 29 Zx16v's licensed and 41 sorned , quite a bit less than the figures I have , I just love this car and it won't be going anywhere , would love an activa or a V6 xantia to go alongside her too

Have you posted any pictures of your 16v Mark?

Yes, something to be considered is Activas moving abroad, especially as they are in such low numbers now.

Only 3 Renault 25 V6s (non-turbo) left. Great encouragement for trying to get mine going again

Only 6 2.0 VVT Meganes sold in 2003. Mine was one!

Im surprised by the amount of Avantimes registered, more than I thought.

Yup! Population staying well stable though which is good. And I see there is one 2.2 dCi lurking somewhere. I'll steer clear of that!

Only 3 Prestige Autos left! The one I look after is a rare car in that case. Or does that not include TCTs?

Frankly, that site is a little misleading, it seems to have listings for the same car but with different wordings.

I did spot the 1.0 Turbo Xantias too, not something I have came across before

Pleased this got some of you excited!!
The V6 Safranes have dropped quickly and i,ve also worked out the figures are not 100% correct...
I scrapped a V6 safrane a few years ago but its still showing on the DLVA site as alive and untaxed so i guess its down as a survivor?
The SORN figures will be lower as so many people SORN a car,then decide after a short time to scrap it,but a SORN runs for 12 months so its still shown as SORN and alive but it isn,t.
Again another V6 i know of in this position as its been scrapped but still on a SORN.
My position in finding a spare V6 RXE looks grim aswell
What i think we should do is start a thread of cars people really want,either for themselves to keep or for breaking,maybe between us we can find what we are looking for
I,il start RENAULT SAFRANE V6 RXE 1993-95 with leather and the ergomatic seats,there easy???????

Someone explain this to me please?
Put in RENAULT SAFRANE V6 RXE.
You come up with 17 examples for 2010.
When you click on the car it lists 16 as taxed,15 on SORN
So does that not make 31 in total?,so shouldn,t it list 31 on the front page as its titled HOW MANY LEFT?or is it just listing roadworthy examples on the main list?
I guess if thats the case it lists 17 roadworthy but only 16 taxed because the one i scrapped is down as UNTAXED rather than taxed or Sorn,so it would be 16 taxed,or i,am i confusing myself...
