406 hdi fans not working

Hi all, my 2000 hdi 2ltr A/C is not cooling due to the engine fans not being switched on by the A/C panel or relay, has anyone got any info as to where the relay is? the fan comes on with the water temp switch and the A/C system is working ok its just the condenser cant cool the refrigerant due to fans not on.
