renault scenic II outside temp sensor,where is it?

hi folks my outside temp display is wrong inside the car speedo panel,where is the sensor located outside the car?as need to check it or does it need replaced?thanks

A guess behind front bumper somewhere, most makes of cars put it there.

More likely in one of the wing mirrors. Look for a little 'pimple' on the lower edge.

Been to look at a Scenic today, and noticed the pimple on the bottom of the passenger wing mirror.

Yep, it's the little black rain drop looking thing under the drivers door mirror. Really common problem, so I wouldn't buy a second hand replacement.

On our Scenic it's at the bottom of the passenger side door mirror.
Ours failed last year and I was quoted a silly price for a replacement part from the main stealers, so opted for the scrap yard route. Picked up 2 sensors for £1.
It's still working now and the temperature reads the same on the scenic as it does in the Leon that we own.
