I have a scenic 1.6 expression + which is fitted with a sigma silvershield alarm ( fitted by renault dealer when new by previous owner). the previous owner has told us that an optional remote key pad was installed in the glove box,this has dassapeared when we bough it from the renault dealer (still in discussion with them to get them to replace it)the question is, is it realy necessary to have the keypad or can i live without it and secondly where was it wired into the alarm system as i have hunted high and low for a socket. any information on this alarm very welcome.
