Hi,

Always polite to introduce myself on new forums...

I'm a long standing XUD fan having had probably at least 10, some Pug petrols too, currently trying to put a DW8 back together in an old Berlingo.

A friendly chap called John Grainger suggested i pop along for some advice having failed to sell me a head gasket (wrong engine) as i'm a little green to the process... see next post!!

PS: Other interests are boating (read outboard engines) and also getting into car diagnostics software as a sideline small buisness and hobby selling OBD-II kit on eBay (no more sales pitch, dont worry)

If you like boats and outboards, then you're in excellent company with our John then!

I'm afraid you may not sell many OBD-II kits around here as most of our cars are pre-OBD and need the pukka stuff to do their diagnostics. As usual, Peugeot and Citroen (Renault too I guess) ploughed very much their own furrow diagnostics-wise until legislation forced them to be OBD-II compliant!
