renault scenic check injecton on dash 54 plate 1.9 dci

hi peeps,my grand scenic sometimes has check injector and service light comes on dash now and again,but car still drives perfect etc,what is causing this?please any ideas thanks grand scenic is a 54 plate 1.9dci

hi, i'v not seen a check injector message before do you mean check injection? this message just means there is a fault on the system, if your not loosing power chances are your heater plugs are worn out, Antz..

do u mean glow plugs?there is no power loss etc,it doesnt come on all the time just now and again,it says check injection sorry cheers

hi, yes sorry its some people call them glow plugs and other's heater plugs but they are the same thing, must add though it may be worth getting it checked out as there are lots of faults that would bring this message up. Antz..
