Morning Jim,
I'm having a problem with my profile pic, I keep getting an error message which says:

D'oh

Sorry Steve.

My fault entirely. I forgot to set the right permission on the Images/Avatars folder up on the server. I missed it because so many of use were using off-site avatar links. No excuse. Bad system admin there...

I shall sort it next time I'm in the server...

Hi Steve,

All fixed now

You should be able to upload an Avatar now. Max. size 120x120 and maximum size of 6Kb.

let me know if it is now working...

I've been having problems uploading an image too. I had to use an external URL in the end

We'd better look into that Julz... Main thing is you have an Avatar up!

It'll be a permissions problem when the forum was moved to the new host. The Images (I think) folder needs write permissions but not too much write permissions if you know my meaning..

Xac, can you have a butchers please? If I recall, the IIS IUSR accounts need to have write permission on the images/avatars folders. The BXC will have the same problem. Everthing else should be read-only.

Hmm, bored with my avater so I was trying to bung one on but it won't let me..keeps giving me this:

Plus has the size changed? 120 looks tiny! Fair enuff, if needs must

I used the direct image link Steve,the way I have in the past, no joy.

I seem to be suffering from thickness lately,maybe it's old age or the kids (and the car..) driving me nuts

Maybe a mod can play with the links I've posted?
