RENAULT MEGANE INTERMITTANT STIFF GEARBOX ANY IDEAS HELP!!!

ok i got my megane not so long ago, however i'm having a problem where the gearbox keeps going stiff. this only happens as the car is being driven, when its been stood it feels totally normal then slowly the more it's used it feels like it's stiffening up.

when i say stiff i don't mean actually going in and out of gears, but more the movemnt in neutral, when the car is stood and 1st used the gear stick springs back to the middle as normal but the more it's used it stops doing that and will just stay whereever you put it up down side to side.

Any ideas would be greatly apprciated

Hi,
It could be that the gear linkages are getting tight when they get warm.

Try greasing them up...pop the cup ends of the rods off the ball joints that they connect to & put a smear of grease in them & reconnect.
