have you mannually entered the 4 digit code using the door unlock button on the dash and counting the red light pulses,

if so after that the car should start!
now its time to syncronise the key to the ecu turn off the engine leaving the ignition on

push door unlock button & keeping finger on button & pushed in,

remove key hold key towards mirror and repeatedly push remote button untill the doors unlock and lock good luck!! graham_winn@hotmail.co.uk

:D solved at last :D
1st check your key is working properly, dont go by the red light :D hold key in front of modile phone camera and press the button, it should show
bright blue ....if it works the lets proceed... :D
2nd download this little program from here

Code: Select all

http://renaulthelp.110mb.com/ImmBypass.html
the instruction are on the site but i will write them here..
get your car model number FROM your id plate on the door pillar
get your key number from your paperwork or from inside the key,,my one was stamped on the plastic cover not the board..
now you should have a 4 digit code...

Get into your car, switch on the ignition and hold the central locking button down and the red immobiliser light will start to flash slowly.
Count out the number of flashes and release the central locking button when it matches the number of the 1st digit of your bypass code.
Now hold down the central locking button and count the flashes up to the 2nd digit of the bypass code and release.
Repeat the above step for the 3rd and 4th digits.
ie:: hold button 2 flashes,release ,hold button 5 flashes,release ,hold button 1 flash,release ,hold button 1 flash,release
gives you code of 2511

Re-synching the key fob (may not always work):

With all bypass digits entered, turn off the ignition.
Hold down the central locking button. The immobiliser lights should remain constantly on.
Point your key fob at the IR sensor near the internal rear view mirror and press on/off quickly. Hopefully the key should now be re-synched.

You only have 15 seconds to replace the battery, after that the key loses it's memory and cannot be reprogrammed, you will find info here www.coupe-club.org.uk
