Dimmer switch for dash?

Dimmer switch for dash?

I have just bought a 1998 Renault Megane Scenic RT 1.6. The clock is quite dim and I cant seem to find a dimmer switch to brighten it, assuming that there is one.
Can anyone help?

Dont think there is one separately for the clock. Must be the common dashlight dimmer control thumbwheel usually found on underside the steering wheel cowling.
