Hi there, both cables have broken on electric front window regulators a common fault I believe have been offered a used pair complete for £80 but the motor is a 2 pin type. Can I change my 6 pin over? And would it be straight forward?
Any advice appreciated

Hi,
I'm no expert but you should just be able to remove the 2 pin motors & fit your 6 pin motors in their place...obviously this relies on the fitting for the motors being the same....you would have to compare the regulators side by side to establish if they were.
If your going to pay £80 for 2 second hand regulators (assuming unknown condition) why not spend a little extra & get 2 new ones.
I can recommend power windows based on my experience of dealing with them. (No association other than a satisfied customer)
They list regulators on eBay ...unfortunately there are none listed at the moment for the Laguna, but when there are they are £49 & that includes next day delivery (the regulators comes without a motor you just fit the motor from the broken regulator)....alternatively they have a website & they will fix broken regulators or supply new ones.
You could give them a ring & see what sort of price they would want to repair your regulators or how much they would sell you 2 new units for...you may be able to haggle a good deal if your after 2 !
