hi all , i have a 1998 renault espace 2.0 rxt auto, and it wont go if i put it in any forward gear it just screeches at me if i put in reverse it will move but not like it should , please help!!!! many thanks Leigh

Sorry Leigh -
But thats a serious problem. You will need professional assistance to get it going again. Please dont try the car anymore, as there are large riscs you introduce even more damage to the autobox.
My guess is the converter (hydraulic variable clutch) has failed for any reason.
