clio 1.5 2003 desiel, fuel cut? wont start?

hello,

i am looking at a renault clio that has been crashed at one side, but the engine wont start anymore, does any1 know if these have fuel cuts or anything alike, i tried looking under the bonnet for a fuel cut button but cant see anything.

help much apprecieted.

the early models have a fuel cutout behind the battery . it is next to the ecu it has a cream colour top round about 2" across.
