Make of Compressor & will it make a difference?

As the compressor clutch bearing on my Xantia has collapsed! :cry:
I have bitten the bullet had the refrigerent 'evacuated' (lost 200g in 6 months :o ) and am about to put a S/H (new to me) compressor on, it's from a 306 HDI, same mountings, same hose positioning, same electircal connection, physically the same size (well maybe slightly longer body . :?: )
but a different manufacturer (Sanden) I can't see a manfacturers name on the old compressor .
Is there any reason why, as all the other parts for the aircon are the same, this shouldn't work?

Well fitted it and the aircon is working as well if not better, now all we need is some hot weather to really test it
