C5 pollen filter

just bought a C5 2.0hdi with climate so i'm new to this aircon idea.in the xantia i opened the roof and windows.can anyone tell me where the pollen filter is please.

The pollen filter is very cunningly hidden I'm afraid. Its mounted behind the carpet trim on the RH side of the passenger footwell. I found I had to partially remove the trim from front of said footwell before tackling the rest of the job. with the trim partially removed its possible to wangle out the old filter. Fitting the new one wasn't easy and took several goes. I had to sort of distort the frame to get it to fit, but it *did* snap into place.
Living in a fairly rural area, after 50,000 or so miles, the old one wasn't actually that dirty....
