Hi all I hope someone can help me we have just brought a 94 2L espace RT and collected on Friday and drove it all weekend. The water pump is leaking so had to top the water up. Car drove great, it did cut out 2 tims both when turning hard right. My wife was come home from the c=school run today and it cut out and died. just about started after 10 mins and drove for 300 meters and died again. Now it willn't start at all. there is no spark from the centre lead of the coil and there is fule in the rail. I put a meeter over the TDC sensor and got a reading of 225omhs. I need your help and fast or I will be forced to tow it to a garage.
Thanks.[V][?]

then it could be the spark amplifier, when you say no spark do you mean none at all or a very light spark, the coil is marked with a pos and neg symbol, other things to check is the fuel inertia cut off switch "if fitted"-all earth wires to the engine from the chassis ( if the engine has no earth there will be no spark ) but the engine will still turn over, next is the immobiliser if fitted then all major engine fuses 30amp and higher.

Hi all I have changed the coil and the crank sensor I have found out that what I through was fule in the rail wasn't true. I have no power to the coil and the fuel pump isn't running. But what I have found which seams odd is the fuse board in the glove box has been turned round so relays are on Left side and from the now top relay point is a live feed with a 10 amp fuse in line coming out. The problem is this is a short jumper wire and the other end isn't connected!!!! I guess this could be the feed that I am missing for the coil-fuel pump as on the wireing diag it shows a 10amp feed t the coil.
Above the fuse board under the dash is a number of relays and wires again on of the relay points is partly blanked off but the wire looks to short to connect to this. any ideas as I will be working on the car all day as I have to have it running.
