Clio boot floor panel

Unread post by stuart404 »

My girlfriend had someone drive into the back of her yesterday, there was no visible damage to the outside but on closer inspection the boot floor panel by the spare tyre looks a bit buckled. Any idea how much it'll cost to fix or replace?

Floor damage! You not been through the insurance? only yesterday me and a mate were taking about his Mondeo Estate 2003 reg sounds like the same kind of thing. Small bump with vertialy no damage, except for a small crease in the floor of the boot. Sorry to say but insurance wright off. It was due to the back end being bent through out its bit of body, not just the floor. Best to get the insurance on to it. You'll feel better for it.

Oh dear it could be quite serious then?! The funny thing is that it was her friend that ran into the back of her! So they may end up going through insurance, will see what the garage thinks...

Had a similar problem with a Laguna. From the outside all you could see was a scratch and slight mis-alignment of the bumper, inside like you a crease in the floor. That cost the woman who did it (or rather the insurance company) over £600.
