c5 climate control

just bought a c5 2.0 hdi, and have noticed that i'm either too bloomin hot at 28, or freezin no matter what it says on the display below this. I assume there is a thermostat somewhere in the cabin, anyone know where it is?

Just above the ashtray you'll see some horizontal slots covering an area the size of a small coin. Shine a torch in there and you'll see a small fan that should spin when the engine is running. I think this might be what you're looking for. The whole thing is in a green unit that looks as though it can be pulled down if you remove the ashtray. Have a look round the Citroen forum - there are loads of posts on the Xantia equivalent.
