Xantia suspension only goes fully up or down

As an experiment, I removed the 2 plastic clips on otherwise working front and rear height correctors.
The results are the suspension will ONLY be fully up or fully down depending on which direction you LAST moved the internal height adjuster.
This simulates when the white plastic link fails when either end DISCONNECTS from it's ball socket.
I hope this clears up this all too familiar fault when the above symtoms appear.
(as with all tests they are open to debate, if anyone disagrees please say so)

That reply above was a long time coming, & if it were to be done on 03/02/2009 would have been four years

approx after the original!
