2011 Citroen ds3 1.6thp fault. Please help just passed test

Just bought a citroen ds3 that currently has two faults. The first being a battery drain somewhere causing the battery to die after 4 days of no use. Has a brand new battery fitted to it. As well as a light on the dash and a message to go with it as follows: air bag/seat belt pre tensioner faulty” any help would be greatly appreciated as paid over the top for the car and insurance is a joke. Thank you. I’ve already checked through the forum and either didn’t see current info on the fix or I’m being ignorant.

Hi and welcome - we really need the fault codes. The warnings do not provide a definitive reason - only that the Airbag ECU has detected a fault on the self-check. You need to have it read with Lexia / Diagbox and put up the fault codes along with your VIN here for assistance.

Hi I have a Peugeot 307 cc 2007 and the airbag light keeps coming on and off. I checked under the driver seat and found the connector loose. I compared with under the driver seat and found that there’s a piece of plastic that seems to hold the connector to the floor.I used zip ties etc but to no avail. Is this something that can be sourced?

I don't have knowledge of the Peugeot, but the issue of a loose connection is known with several makes of car.
I doubt the piece of plastic holding the cable to the floor will cause an issue with the air bag light, but an intermittent loose connection in the plug and socket almost certainly will. Check for a good electrical connection within. Look for corrosion, dirt, and maybe spray the connection (whilst apart) with a spray cleaner for electrical connections.
