It´s nearly impossible to use that standard amplifier with aftermarket HU. Best option is just to bypass it, but you loose subwoofer, and need to add crossover for front speakers. This also requires a little bit of modification for speaker wiring.ExOduS442xb wrote: 16 Mar 2022, 20:01 Hi Marc, thanks for the advice, but I am afraid those guys wont help me much, I will try. I believe I will make it work, it will probably take some time, if I do I will add instructions on how I made it work.
Is it possible to identify via photo which amplifier is this? I hope I attached it correctly. Or maybe via VIN number?
Thanks,
Mladen

Re: Android Radio for C5 X7
Hi guys, I asked the seller, I will copy the answer, hope you don't mind.
"Dear, put the power cord I marked, put the original car CD back, and use a multimeter to measure whether there is 12V voltage on this line when playing music, and there is no 12V voltage when no music is playing, it proves that this is the line, connect to our power supply The wire is marked ANT blue wire, thank you"
This connector is from RT4 (marked with "a") number 9. We are going to give it a try tomorrow, fingers crossed.

Android Auto is now working wireless on my Joying without any additional hardware. Headunit Reloaded -software did the trick. Also 10" subwoofer finally installed. Sound setup also made, so ready for holiday trip.

Hi all ,
Has anyone with a non Joying unit managed to get AC info to show on the screen?
Also any way to adjust the flexible parking lines?

Yes AC-info is showing fine.vodnasol wrote: 21 Nov 2022, 09:50 Hi all ,

You can adjust parking lines when reverse is selected and parking lines are showing. Just click display then. Unfortunately on my unit those settings are not saved after reboot.

What radio do you have? On my radio there are static and flexible parking lines and you can only adjust the static lines.Xantippa wrote: 16 Dec 2022, 12:48Yes AC-info is showing fine.vodnasol wrote: 21 Nov 2022, 09:50 Hi all ,

Re: Android Radio for C5 X7
Hi
looking for some help / data on how to get the steering controls working on a Android unit (ESSGOO 10.1 inch) I've fitted to my Citroen Aircross C4 2012.
It all works but for the self learning steering controls on the Android unit which I have not connected the wires yet
My understanding is the Citroen C4 / Mitsubishi ASX do not use canbus for the SWC, just resistors as per the pic (values may not be correct)
There is a Key 1 and Key 2 wire which need to go into the 8 pin connector on the back of the Android Unit, after which the unit can be taught to "learn" the buttons (based on the button resistance being set to the button you select).
I'm loathe to get a canbus decoder if the key 1 and key 2 wires be directly wired to the controls (I did the same on my Nissan Pathfinder as it works fine)

Re: Android Radio for C5 X7
Issue solved
I had two Android ISO connector harness (one for another GPS for a Nissan car) and seems I had used the Nissan one and not the one that came with the Mitsubishi unit, mainly by tracing the harness wiring and working out that Key 1 and Key 1 were already connected in the Mitsubishi harness anyway (pins A6 Steering wheel 1 and A7 steering wheel 2) but where loose in the Nissan one
SWC / Steering wheel controls learning works and selected the keys when pressed (see pics). Interestingly you can assign different functions to the buttons if you want to.
I guess this also confirms that the Mitsubishi ASX / Citroen C4 Aircross is a resistive unit and not CANBUS (so don't need to buy a decoder).
It also meant that I could remove the ISO connector cable I bought and just directly plug the correct Android Mitsubishi harness into the Citroen car harness, which left one harness spare but which does not seem to do anything anyway (and looking at the wiring just seems to be duplicating the first one).
You also should install all the extra cables supplied with the Android unit (eg AV, USB, Rear camera etc) into the rear of the Android unit, as this seems to increase the bluetooth and wifi signal
Hope this helps
