I am glad I stumbled on your thread. I am trying to install a 360 degree camera system (bought from AliExpress) for my Picasso. For the rear camera, I need to remove the inner trim of the rear hatch to run the cabling. you have done the same for your project.

Do you have any more photos of your disassembly that i can use please? I ordered a standard car trim removal set from AliExpress. Would I need any more specialised tools? Any tips or problematic areas you would like to share.

Hi, as I'm new owner of C4 GP2 from end of 2014 with no electrical tailgate, I was looking for information how to install it in my car and I'm glad to see thic topic.
I was wondering what elements I need to have it done in my garage:
- two tailgate actuators (electric)
- closing motor
- close button for tailgate
- open/close foot sensor (optionionally)
- anything else...?

Is there any separate control module for this or it is operated by BSI controller?

I'm also interested in electric part of installation - cables/connectors - where should it be connected etc.
When manual part is done - as I understand, it has to be activated with DiagBox, hasn't it?

I think this has been covered before - it's a completely different tailgate, the wiring harness is different and there are many other components and sensors that you can't see for anti pinch protection etc' so it's not a matter of fitting in the struts and telecoding. It's probably why there has been no response as it's not cost effective to do.

Hi how did you do the wiring i have the electric struts boot button control module and pull in lock/motor and plugs and loom for it but obusley not same as my loom so got to cut cables but stook on the wiring

If your car has a foot trigger you have MK2 Picasso. You can add additional lights on boot lid and you can add open / close button on dash board. There is no option open / close inside of cabin.

PS! I have already have success in upgrading the following:
- Nav system from RCC to NAC.
- Speedometer from black white to colour display.
- Back lights to LED 3D lights.
- Front lights to Xenon lights.

I need to replace my reverse camera. Can you tell me how to remove the interior tailgate panel/trim to access the reverse camera wiring from the interior?
