Sorry to upset the applecart but based on the following I reckon Ryan has a house mouse:

Battling my way through the jungle of nettles and brambles that took over while I was ill, the green bin's full, however I did get two bowls of blackberries,

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
I'm pleased someone noticed it. I have taken a back seat in promoting this thread let it reach its own natural level but after some award winning night pictures with a bit of encouragement in the past, I thought the "supermoon was going to pass without troubling the scorers on POTD.
Is that picture one of your own Gibbo? Very good if it is. I did some for my own personal experimentation, but not quite what I was hoping for. Meanwhile those who know what they are doing like this link here, posted on the Newbiggin Dolphin Watch Facebook Group can certainly turn up some quality images. A few members of the group are professional photographers and it shows!

Yes Neil took it from my landing window with what's really just a basic point and shoot Pentax Optio VS 20 camera.

Excellent original photo Gibbo. Deserves an enlargement in that case. By the time I was faffing about with my point and shoot the moon was higher in the sky and "smaller" viewtopic.php?p=810614#p810614Gibbo2286 wrote: 21 Aug 2024, 10:50 Yes Neil took it from my landing window with what's really just a basic point and shoot Pentax Optio VS 20 camera.

Leaving the house this morning I noticed this petal on my doorstep... A perfect little pink heart
The petal came from a rose bush growing in my front garden...

Mick's moth viewtopic.php?p=810587#p810587 has reminded me of the little friend I found by the front door earlier:
