Fule Filter

I am a bit of a novice and am in need of some urgent help. I need to change the fuel filter on my 1997 clio before tomorrow. I believe that this is a fairly straight forward job but would appreciate some guidance from a more experienced motortist to ensure that it is done correctly. I would appreciate it if anyone copuld help.
