never had a firmware update

Hello I'm a little lost with this and know there's a massive thread being dyslexic it was heard to read with old and new info

I have 2020 C5 aircross
firmware showing as 31.09.46.62_NAC-r0 (I don't think its ever been updated)
My car has WIFI

ive tried the app and it will only download maps v17 no firmware update even though its old ,install fails to update
I believe I need to do firmware first ? but lost on which one or how many I need to do or if I need a licence or not
if someone could help me with which firmware I need please
my vin number is VR7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Yes they want £160 to do it.
