2025 meetings

Unread post by myglaren »

Left this a bit late and some have already taken place but the listing is here for anyone interested.

I'm hoping to get to the Wetherby one next month.

Timely - I'd been meaning to look up when the Eastern region meets are thinking I'd pop along with the new X7.
Next Tuesday #-o I am at a leaving do (I know right, who has a leaving do on a Tuesday???)

I was at the CCC Festival Saturday & Sunday, reasonable turn out, down on last year.

Very few BX’s, I can’t remember seeing any on Saturday and only counted two on Sunday! No tractions but plenty of DS’s, C6’s, XM’s & Xantia.

It was nice to see the Saxo boys on Sunday, some fantastic cars. They really know how to make a car look different, I’d not seen a car with an eighteen inch gear stick since my Anglia 105e in the 60’s. They are so enthusiastic & should be encouraged.

Nice to see Will doing is stuff, I think he was kept busy most of Sunday.

I always miss this.
How many cars and people in total would you estimate?

And no CX's? That's surprising/disappointing!

It was a good turnout but just less than last year. Yes, there were CX’s, I think 3 or 4. There were some nice stuff like a lorry with an open back, thought to be made during the war during the occupation & a super modified Belingo.

I missed it too. We were in Whitby to mark the tenth anniversary of my wife's death. Unfortunate clash of dates.
