I don't know about Trump etc. I do know that Signal was written by the same authors as Whats App because they sold Whatsapp to the big boys not realising it would get compromised! So they wrote Signal with end to end encryption and have maintained it since launch. Probably the best free communications option on the net. Using Signal is a good plan Mick, safe and saves faffing around with cables

Bluetooth also if your laptop supports it... None of mine do...

Yes I found that too so don't know why I mentioned it really!!

However I use Signal because I can save the pics when I am away from the laptop and then access them on the laptop when I am ready. Hence while on the recent trip I saved each flurry of pics just after taking them and then used them in the evenings on the laptop to do the write ups!!

I could do that on one of my Google accounts. I disabled it on the main one as it is clogged up and I keep getting warnings about low space left.

Only with the phone though, the other cameras are not wifi.
