Update.

We had a chat last night and the other half was against the idea but not necessarily for a reason I expected. She kinda sees it as going back to the 500x or similar, a car we sold to get the DS9 which I argued at the time was better for our needs.....mainly a motorway cruiser. I got a sense too even though she didnt say it that despite her initial doubts she has grown to like the DS9.... which is understandable, especially if she does not believe the ride issue is a problem. Apart from this one issue I love the car so I'm not going to force it.

That said it kinda does give me a green light to get the suspension sorted, not sure where i'll go but I need a reputable specialist who can help.

Imo, those C5 aircross PHEV's are still a bargain at £23k brand new even if they are old spec. If she does does think about it and reconsider I'd be intrigued to have a 24 test drive of one.... after previously driving the DS9 Etense with the same battery/ engine/ gearbox I do know its a smooth setup.

Just a quickie if you can help pls.

Earlier on this thread the rear shock for the DS9 225hp non phev was given as part number 9837905280 but on this site it's given as 9836437080! Any ideas why?

And then there is another one here from a broken car, KYB branded! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/256853335635 ... Sw4ZRn0MSY

I don't know if you remember but you flagged up my car had discontinued bump stops at the rear. I'm now wondering if this could be a similar story?
