Hello from Sweden (and Austria, kind of...)

A forum for new members to introduce themselves to the rabble already onboard. Not compulsory!
Tell us a little about yourself, lie if you have to but keep it to just an introduction, not a car discussion.

Hello from Sweden (and Austria, kind of...)

Unread post by jrofors »

Hello!

I'm Johan from Sweden. I just got myself a 2013 DS5 Hybrid from Austria and imported it to Sweden. However, it is in a sorry state and has high mileage, approximately 250,000 km. It goes and runs, but not on the traction battery. The exterior is wrapped in white a long time ago and is very worn and torn. It needs a driver's window mechanism to be fixed, along with numerous minor fixes and repairs. It looks better in the pictures than it is...

The car is rare in Sweden, the price was right, and I always wanted to experience the import process, so I took the plunge. It ran perfectly the 1700 km to Stockholm frame Basel. Cruising at 160 kph on the autobahn was effortless.

Would you be interested in following my revitalisation of this car? I can start a thread and post photos as I get along with the project. Under Citroen or DS?

Hello and welcome.
Well done going for something you wanted like that!
I'm sure we'd love to follow along the progress of you fixing this up to the standard you want.
