Peugeot 508 RXH 02 downstream sensor location

Unread post by impaelas »

Hi all,

508 RXH Hybrid4
Engine: DW10CTED4
Problem: P0131 - o2 sensor short to ground

I've replaced the upstream sensor (two new units, item 3 from the schematics), cleared faults only to find the error back again after couple of minutes of driving. I know there should be a downstream sensor that can cause this error but for the life of me I cannot locate it nor can I find it on the schematics. Don't have the luxury of a lift at home sadly. Car won't go into regeneration and I'd rather fix this before dpf gets clogged up.

If anyone has a schematics or can confirm it is located after the dpf itself that would be a great help.

Thank you,
Imp

What does the live data say about the O2 sensor output? Does it change if you unplug it? Many aftermarket sensors are rubbish, so just because you replaced it doesn't mean it's any good - but they may also be a wiring fault that is causing the issue.

I didn't test after the permanent reappeared but it was reacting when installed new.
I had Febi first and then Delphi installed with same effect.
