Tried giving it a longer run to try to regenerate and added some liquid to fuel which said may help. Have a simple plug in diagnostic sytem but comes up with no codes. Does not seem to affected performace but looking for advice 2013 model not one you put the ad blue in.Cheers Located in Weymouth

Re: Particulate Filter warning
Adblue has nothing to do with the DPF system. Adblue is for the SCR system that treats NOx.
What is the warning you are getting? Particle filter at risk of clogging of additive level too low?
For a 2013 vehicle it may be coming up to the end of life of particle filter, so what mileage has it done? May need a deep clean or replacing if it’s nearing end of service life.

Re: Particulate Filter warning
Hi dont have any additives to put in on this older model. Done only about 55000 but unfortunately many shorted journeys, is the particlate filter incorporated with the catalistic comverter ?

Test your sensor , mine was doing the same , I deep cleaned the dpf waste of time it was clean as a whistle , but I still cleaned it, I then tested the sensor guess what ! Pressure readings confirmed my theory new one purchased im all good so far.
Here's what I did.
Changed my oil & all filters.
Ran a scan and took readings for soot content , my readings were 12% (before) after was about 2% so your never get a true reading (for me that's what I've discovered)
Tested the sensor mine was naff so new one sourced & fitted .
Some videos that help.
And another no nonsense mechanic
Now here's something interesting, not peugeot but my citroen
Every scan a nag , egr stuck closed , even after a long run egr stuck closed.
Purchased another egr, then while under taking the replacement I found the corner where the hex bolt goes this part had an airline fracture which was being held in place by a dab of clear mastic. SO of with the old on with the new , faults cleared, another test so far all OK. But I've bench tested the part that came off and it works .
Back to the 308. Hopefully the videos may help , dpf is a pain the do , but here's a cheat, from under the car , undo that big clamp undo the clamp to the flexix pull the pipes apart so they separate, then you can wiggle this dpf so it separates from each other , then clean it . I've done mine like this and it saves messing about trying to get to them copper nuts hidden either side further up. Another good cleaner is https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/126926130112 ... media=COPY
Take out the top 02 sensor spray it down the hole , instructions are on can and here's a video.
