Hi Andy,
Just curious - which one did you use and find was successful, in the end?
Hi
The place that finally fixed the ECU was Avilec on the Isle of Wight. All the other ECU repair places either would not even try or did try and fail. It has been about 8 years since the ECU was fixed by Avilec and it has been fine ever since. I am happy to share a list of the ECU repair places to avoid if you want to PM me - I initially wasted a lot of money keep sending it out and then it still not working.

The only ECU repair place that manged to fix mine was Avilec on the Isle of Wight. Other so called ECU repair places tried and failed and the bills kept rising. I am happy to share list of the places to avoid if you want to PM me.

think I've found it but not where it shows on the drawing, on my engine its on the rear r/h looking from the front of the van, and looks like part no 9802028080
9802028080 is an oil level/temperature sensor. These are normally at the rear of the engine going into the sump.
1338A6 should be a 3 way connector & is listed as a water temp sensor. This was to VIN for your specific van so it should be fitted however its not unknown for there to be some mistakes in Servicebox.

thanks wheeler given that it is at the rear of the engine going into the sump, i think that 9802028080 is the correct part as i see no other sensors on the engine other than a single wire oil pressure switch and 3 sensors next to it and other on top of the injector pump cooling temp sensor for ecu is on the r/h side as shown, if 9802028080 is the correct part it has a 3 pin connector but only the two outer pins being used. also the circuit diagram that i have shows that the oil temp sensor is connected to the engine temperature gauge in the dashboard
