Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
@Zakaria You have an NAC_EUR_WAVE4_B0 infotainment system. It's a NAC Wave 4, but the B0 revision, WITHOUT integrated satnav. You can't install any maps on that system.

I’ve been trying to update my system on a 2020 C5 aircross and experienced the same issues as many others. I contacted Citroen uk customer support regarding the issues. I did everything they suggested which was just the same as I had been doing. Ie use the Citroen update app etc and try multiple USB devices. Today’s call was to tell me that it is a problem at my end and the files are fine on the server! I tried to say about the certificate issues but they didn’t seem to understand. This has supposedly been escalated to the “technical” department too. All that is left is for me is to take it to my local dealer for them to resolve.
So I’m stuck with version 31.09.46.62_NAC-r0 for now. I will have a chat with the service dept in my dealer and see what they say. I shall report back next week after I’ve been in.
Just a quick update. The service manager downloaded the files via their system and the same issue occurred like I thought it would. So he wants the car booked in so they can follow the process with Citroen UK, raising a technical issue and run full diagnostics. He assured me that he will get it sorted one way or another. I shall keep you updated.

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Hello there and thanks in advance if someone can help me.
I have a Peugeot 2008.
Las week i downloaded the firmware and maps to actualize everything.
It didn't showed me any errors but it was two hours and still wasn't finished.
Finally it became stuck with the message "Software loading on demand".
I've tried everything i read in this forum but nothing seems to work.
My problem is that i cant download the firmware again from the peugeot app..only the maps.
Can someone pass me the firmware and licence for my car please??
My VIN is "VR3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]"

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Hi there,
I recently bought Citroen C5 Aircross BlueHDI 180 from 2019. It seems my navigation maps have never been updated since the car was new, as maps are from 2018.
My system version is 31.09.46.62_NAC-r0
Maps are CI-TT-PSA.P4CNS.U-MAP.EUR.NDS-6.3.0
I'm trying to update the system but when I insert USB I got error: version not compatible with hardware (or something like that)
My USB is 32 GB. I tried with multiple USB stick, and at the end I bought new one. It is formated as FAT32, and I tried connecting the car online, and offline. Nothing hepled...
VIN nuber is: VR7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
Thanx in advance!

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Please do - I knew it's nothing they can do without a re-signed firmware file. As Rui has shown in recent posts, the certificate date can clearly be seen to be expired, so unless the French technicians have a new version specifically for their use - I can't see them being able to solve it - and if they did have a new version, they should just upload it to their servers for the benefit of all.Rjp1205 wrote: 17 Mar 2025, 16:25Afternoon,Rjp1205 wrote: 27 Feb 2025, 15:26 Hi all,

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
I can't, once you've downloaded it - it should be on your PC though, so you should be able to locate it. I can't help with the licence either once you've downloaded it. Maybe Rui can assist if he reads this.Ruizito1 wrote: 18 Mar 2025, 11:39 Hello there and thanks in advance if someone can help me.

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Hi all,
I've got a Wave3 software in my C5 Aircross.
Regarding the certificate expiration, would it be possible to disconnect the car from any form of time server, and set the date something that is before the expiration date (Nov 3 14:38:04 2024 GMT?)?
Modern TLS systems check the time matches between server and client, but in this scenario, the certificate check is local, right? Is there a way to go fully offline (I'm thinking disconnecting from GPS and Radio which I presume are used to sync time), so the car would have no means to ensure the date was set correctly?

I was thinking exactly the same, I shall ask the question at the garage to see if it is at all possible. I doubt it would be that simple to,do.mattmatician wrote: 18 Mar 2025, 18:26 Hi all,

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Highly unlikely as without the licence file it requires the connection to the server to authorise..... and without a connection you're still snookered.mattmatician wrote: 18 Mar 2025, 18:26 Hi all,

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
The license.key file is also signed and every time you download that license, it is signed with the certificate available at that time.
If you set the date to something before the firmware expiration date, you might also set it to a date before the certificate used to sign the current license is valid. So you also need an old license.key, which as you know, is tied to the VIN (uin/head unit serial number) and the firmware version (UpdateID/MediaVersion).
And you can't just change the date, the head unit is connected (through USB and CAN bus) to the BTA (Boîtier Télématique Autonome) / ATB (Autonomous Telematics Box), that has its own internal clock, an internal eSIM and GPS receiver - any of them could receive the current date.
