Today we saw the welcome return of this non-standard Blackbird to our back garden :-D He's quite tame, though not quite tame enough to feed from the hand.

Not much snow here..

This is what I found when I went for my early run:

A bit slippy in parts though

It's rapidly melting and by daybreak I expect it'll be all gone...

Pissipitating down with rain here today, we had a short bit of snow yesterday evening but it was soon diluted by the rain.

It's not stuck anywhere other than what landed on the cars, so had to brush it off a few to get the raw materials for a bit of sculpting. Few big flakes just now but stopped again for the moment

The last time we had any 'decent' snow here must have been 10-15 years ago.
Yesterday started out at 0 deg rising to 13 by teatime.
Dreaded condensation on all cold surfaces in Barn & outbuildings :(

One of our Junior parkrun volunteers building a snowman this morning :D

This is how it looked when I did the course check...

The kids loved it without exception even though they all ended up soaked and covered in mud

It was not slippery or icy anywhere but biblically wet and slushy!

I'm still on a bit of a learning curve and today was very much trying to put my learning to date into practice and building on that learning. I still have a way to go...

I'm really getting back into the subject. I used to be very deeply into it in the late 70s/early 80s, even to doing my own processing...

286 photos today and some real crackers of little 'un up to her antics 8-)
