Unread post by 508c5 »

Hello,

Got the P0171 trouble code on my Citroen c4 Picasso 1.6 THP 165 BHP with vin number VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] - Can you check and advise of the manufacturers "protocol" for this one ?

BTW - Richness (lambada) value is 1.0, idling is unstable

THANKS

Can't help with this with a specific descriptor, but it may have something to do with the incorrect position of the air filter deflector. Make sure that the air filter is positioned correctly and also that the air deflector is also correctly in place - misalignment disrupts the airflow at the inlet of the motorised throttle body and can cause incorrect reading of the airflow.

The "fat" hose connecting between the air filter and turbo charger was the cause
