C3 Auto gearbox problem

Hello is anyone having any trouble with an automatic citroen c3 in the hot weather. The car drives faultless in the winter but hot weather i cant drive for long in it and it starts clunking saying gearbox failure. Park it up let it cool down for half hour just to get me back home. Then next days its okay until it gets hot.

I have split this off into a separate topic - can you supply some more details of the car please? Engine / gearbox type (I suspect this is an EGS...!)- and the VIN if possible (It will be masked from general view).

You need to have your vehicle diagnosed and provide us with the fault codes and any messages. This topic was posted 4 years ago, so I wouldn't count on a response anytime soon.
