Hello, 4 days ago when I was heading to work, the car was working perfectly fine.
When I left for home, it started moving very sluggishly and wouldn't shift gears at all.
Checked the codes, and it showed a pressure regulation fault error.
I looked online to find the possible causes and decided to replace the two solenoids. Replaced them and also changed the oil, and checked the level. (the oil had already been changed 7 months ago).
Now the car starts off well, shifts into D, 1st, and 2nd, but when it tries to shift into 3rd, it drops back into 2nd. Sometimes it goes into 3rd, but slips out after a few seconds.
Using a tester, I checked the oil pressure, which was at 2.7 at idle, but as the oil warmed up, it dropped to 1.15-1.30.
Then I decided to clean the valve body, I cleaned and reassembled it, changed the oil again, checked the level, but the problem persists exactly the same.
What could be the cause?
Could it be the oil pressure sensor? How to check?
