Going back to the Ford Explorer, it really would not have taken much effort, even a vinyl stick on, to make the car look soooo much better!! :-D

My daughter had a petrol Ford Explorer for a few years when she was first posted to the USA by GCHQ always says it was the worst car she ever owned, had a Subaru Forester later that would go anywhere whilst all the other 4x4s were stuck in the snow.
Anyway I was just having a look through Car and Driver magazine and found the car I want. :-D

Renault will Debut the New Renault 4 on October 14th.
From the bouche de Cheval, a few teased images and a bit of guff in advance of the launch.
Today is indeed Launch day. No spoonfeeding...Renault have gone to the trouble of putting together a media package of 164 images and 7 videos, the interested and curious will have a peek, in advance of the youtube walkarounds coming out. Granted gone are the days of an aircraft carrier, a jet, a car being catapulted off the end and landing on a submarine are long gone now... viewtopic.php?p=817272#p817272

As trailed the walkarounds are all over youtube.

Look up Renault 4 e-tech and you will find one to watch, post it up here if you like it, I certainly do :-D

Next the journos will be getting their hands on it for a drive.

Nissan to lay off thousands of workers as sales drop

In November last year, Nissan and its partners announced a £2bn ($2.6bn) plan to build three electric car models at its Sunderland factory.

The firm said it will build electric Qashqai and Juke models at the plant alongside the next generation of the electric Leaf, which is already produced there.

That's ugly, I've yet to see one of those in the flesh. Outside the office today was parked (badly: as is Altrincham rules, I think) one of these things:
An EV9 apparently

Think it was same colour as pictured. Thankfully a lovely blue = takes the list of things I like about it up to: 1 :rofl2:

Probably the best looking EV so far but still that awful 'blank' front panel. Why don't they just give it a decal or something to at least make it look purposeful? :-D

In fact, here's an idea, why not make that front panel a screen and display the vehicle's rear view camera on it and then the vehicle you are following will be able to 'see right through you' :-D

Indeed, it looks all wrong...

And who that shouty bloke in the corner? Looks like he could be real irritation...

I love the colour of that 'car' though... Yellow improves most things ;)
