I was sent a NEW brake pedal switch CITR0EN 4534 66 .
THE part# on the SWITCH I received is 995835 T 02 .
The part# on my original OEM switch is 9650688480 .
The NEW brake pedal switch PLUNGER is longer and has less TRAVEL than the OEM switch , so it will not work / fit
Is this the wrong switch that I was sent ?
IS it POSSIBLE TO ADJUST THE PLUNGER LENGTH ?

Do you have a pic of the switch? Most are adjustable, some are adjusted with fitting & some the switch itself adjusts.

These brake switches have to be one of the most incorrectly fitted car parts i have seen, You must follow the instructions below for fitting the new switch.
Most people just push it in & twist it, This will lead to incorrect operation.
