More of a 'Picture of Last Week'...

Autumn and I, whist out and about, discovered where a certain member of this forum may reside...

It's a very posh place Neil :) Plenty of room for a good few cars there ;)

Ha yes! Well deduced Neil :D We ended up there for a break whilst Autumn's mum did what she had to do in Northampton General. Parking is a right 'mare there so we scooted off to somewhere rather more convivial for a little play and coffee... Note that the coffee was only for me. No way would I give a lively two-year-old anything containing caffeine 8-) Although the results might be a little 'interesting' if I did

Lots of places now offer a "Babychino" which is milk with a good layer of froth on top - you could try Autumn on one of those perhaps.
(My boys have tried it, a resounding NOPE! from both though!)

I'd have thought a straightforward decaf coffee would do, no? :)

Autumn tried one of those in my favourite café while back Matt. Her reaction was the same as your boys! Her tipple of choice is a carton of apple juice and me, like every other parent on this planet, curse paper straws... They last microseconds in the hands of a two-year-old

Very possibly Mick. I recon she might very well enjoy it :) Next time she's with me and mum is not looking I'll find out ;) Robyn always loved a bottle of milky tea as a baby and that likely had quite a caffeine hit in it - no wonder she never slept and was as lively as her own daughter

What terrible parents we were - that both my girls have grown up to be amazingly wonderful and well-adjusted adults is quite remarkable really, considering they have me for a dad

Ah yes, paper straws - great for chewing, bend to a kink.

Mind haven't discovered they could be unrolled into a flat piece, yet!

I must make sure that 'feature' remains well hidden from Autumn ;) Thanks for the heads-up Matt :)

A bit late in the day as this was snapped at sunrise this morning...

Taken during a particularly lovely run looking along Riverside Meadow and one of our very effective flood defences

Our river is still well above its normal level. No great surprise really as it carries the entire flow of clean, treated water from the big sewage works that serves Milton Keynes and overflows from the three of the big balancing lakes in Milton Keynes...

No need to wash it, just apply fertiliser and moss-killer once a year ;)

Spotted at one of our local garden centres today...
