No need for programming these door control modules (but you MUST get the correct unit / part number for your vehicle), but be aware that the driver's door modules are linked to control the passengers mirror, windows and rear windows / and door locking.
My mirrors stopped working - after it came back from the body insurance shop - whatever they had done, one of the door control unit connectors underneath the module had come off, so that was reconnected and all fine again.

Re: C4 grand Picasso door fault
Just to let you know i changed the door control module in the passenger door its seemed to work like it should so not convinced it needs programming.
Please up date us if this work for you
all fingers crossed
Just a quick one when the cars running I'm guessing it says both doors are open, but when you switch the engine off does it change just the passenger door open ?
This to me doesn't make sense as when its on the computer live data passenger door is opening/ closing as it should and shows the drivers door always closed on live data.
Im still trying to locate this relay i was told about which could be jammed- I can take these doors off in about a minute and a half now iv got that good at it

Re: C4 grand Picasso door fault
Finally got down to the bottom of this fault after trying everything, It was the wiring in the drivers side door.
Easy enough to take the door off x2 pins and recommended helper and support under the door for ease, 3 minute or less job
A few cables worn (and repaired ) the wire causing this doors open fault is the red one on the picture.
Spent many of hours trying to find this problem and replacing parts- so hope this helps someone as I know this is a common problem on these cars.

Re: C4 grand Picasso door fault
Wow Ryan, well done.
I have to be honest and say that I have just been ignoring the errors. I suspected a wiring fault so will likely take your lead and take the door off and have a look. it is very frustrating given the amount I have spent on door locking controls, controller unit, Citroen diagnostics, mechanic time.... all to still have the same problem.
I'm not surprised it may be wiring though, the method used in these cars to pass wires through doorframes leaves much to be desired. I have the wires leading into the boot fully exposed at the moment as the concertina rubber conduit has ripped. (and the corrugated pipe for the window washer water has also broken there)
I will wait for a day where I won't swear too much at the cold and will give it a go.
