I like the look of them, the epitome of sunny day motoring. Interesting after the BB Motoring Discussion on motoring for pleasure...the sales particulars for the one at sold at Brightwells finished off with this...
Starting on the button, the TF runs well and feels lively – interestingly, it is the one car the vendor felt most inclined to keep after a last blast on country lanes prior to being transported to Brightwells…
"Blasts on country lanes"....watch out for these and make sure your drum brakes can "pull-up" in time :-D The former Vectra's just about did!

I always think that whenever a car makes it to the pages of the FCF whether via "spotting threads" or whatsthisthen? then its fleeting moment in the spotlight deserves a bit of extras in finding out, particularly if it is an unusual spot.
For the curious there are pages and pages of info to find and miles and miles of video footage on youtube.
I was and remain very impressed by the conciseness of the narrative printed on the back of cigarette and other collectors cards. I provided the example of the Taj Mahal in the series Wonders of the World. Along with the other 49 in the series, the Wonders have to be described in a few brief sentences.

My homage featuring my very unusual spot yesterday of the "Allcars Snuggy Microcar"
