Hi Marc.
Thanks again!
If i read the "Stellantis Recommended Engine Oils Updated February 2024" correct:
-i live in Finland / unit A
-my engine 1.2 Puretech 2016 EB2DT..?
So...according the list, i should use this oil:
0W30 oil B71 2312
Confusing....

Hi Michael. Thanks for bringing this anomaly to my attention. I've just re-downloaded another document with a recent July 2024 update, so will have to go through and update this again.

I can confirm that what I told you direct from Service (in my post here: viewtopic.php?p=806792#p806792) is correct - 5W30 and the correct specification.

I will temporarily delete the table until I have had time to update it.

No problem, I have now completed the update, so all should reflect the latest service documentation now.

GiveMeABreak wrote: 03 May 2024, 10:21 Ok, so you have a different engine variant (EB2ADTS).

The timing belt is 64k miles / 6 years, then every 128k miles (likely as they will be replacing it with a third generation belt).

As for oil, your vehicle requires:
00W20 B71 2010 (C5)

So this is as recorded in your servicing requirements, and as per the tables I updated, so QUARTZ INEO XTRA FIRST 0W20.
HI there!
Thanks for the detailed information!
I am just curious what is "third generation belt" ?

Thanks in advance!
Brgds,
M.

From memory, I likely mean the belt part number has been replaced 2 times already, so is likely to be further improved. The wet belt system is flawed in my opinion - any material circulating at high speed in hot oil by its nature is going to shred - even microscopic debris over time that is going to get into the engine. It looks like there will soon be a metal belt replacement kit out for wet belt EB2 engines by an independent company for these engines, to try and avoid this sort of issue.

Do you have any brand in mind? Bosch, Dayco, COntinental? Which is the best ?

I would stick to the OEM specific belt to be honest as they have determined the correct belt with the most suitable composition, one would expect.

You can obtain it from your dealer or if you require official parts data, please see below, as this data is chargeable by PSA:

We can help if you need an original genuine part number, part diagram or vehicle factory build sheet and can't already find the info you need on the Forum. For this service, we do ask for a membership upgrade for official parts data as we are in turn charged for this. It will cover you for future part number requests for up to 3 years, so excellent value.

If interested, links are below, then provide your vehicle's VIN in full, which will be masked automatically when you submit your post.
